Built by local craftsmen, all proceeds from our handcrafted wooden caskets and cremation urns support the prayer and works of the monks of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. Grief. Hope. Dignity. Reverence. Although these values have a place in the life and practice of the monastery, these are values the monks of Saint Meinrad Archabbey share with all humankind.
In death, as in life, friends of Saint Meinrad may now demonstrate their spiritual kinship with our monastic community. What more powerful symbol to express this kinship than a casket? What more solemn occasion than death?
